1. What is a morning after pill?
A morning after pill is an emergency contraception medication used to prevent
pregnancy.
2. How different is Plan B from other morning after pills?
Plan B only contains progestin while other emergency contraceptives contain
progestin and estrogen. This may cause it to have less side effects and
also to act as effective as other morning after pills (emergency contraception).
3. Is Plan B FDA approved?
Yes, it is an FDA approved medication manufactured by Duramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
The FDA approved Plan B back in 1999.
4. When should this medication be taken?
The first pill is best used ASAP within 72 hours of having unprotected sex or when the contraceptive fails.
The second pill should be used after 12 hours of taking the first one.
Plan B can reduce pregnancy by 89% and its effectiveness declines if the time
the intercourse happened and the medication is taken increases.
5. Can this medication be used by all women?
Plan B shouldn't be used by women who are pregnant, suffer from
vaginal bleeding from an unknown reason or who have an allergy to the product
itself.

6. What are the side effects of taking Plan B?
Women that have taken this medication didn't show any major side effects. It
can cause the following side effects: abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue, headache
and menstrual changes.
7. Can Plan B terminate pregnancy?
Plan B is used to stop the pregnancy before it actually happens. It
cannot terminate an already established pregnancy and so don't take this
medication if
you are pregnant.
8. Can this medication prevent sexual diseases?
No, this medication doesn't protect from diseases such as gentile Herpes or
HIV. It is solely used as an emergency contraceptive (morning after pill) to
stop the pregnancy from happening.
9. I am in urgent need of Plan B morning after pill. Can it
be shipped ASAP?
If you are in urgent need of the Plan B emergency contraceptive, then select

10. What is the difference about this medication and Orho Evra® or
Ortho Tricyclen®?
Orho Evra® or Ortho Tricyclen® are birth control medication and not an emergency contraception
medication. Also, emergency contraception medication (Plan B) shouldn't be taken
in place of birth control medication.
